Volunteer with the Walla Walla Valley Chamber of Commerce’s 2023 Non-Profit of the Year!
STAR would love to have you join our volunteer efforts in any of the following areas:
Mentorship: put your life experience and compassion to work connecting with and supporting a justice-impacted adult or youth in our community.
Service project coordination: take a team of our participants to be of service to the larger community. We’ve engaged through service projects at assisted living facilities, parks, community spaces, and other local organizations.
Share your knowledge: are you a subject matter expert? Our participants both in and outside the prison walls have incredibly varied interests and needs. We would love to help you share your passion and expertise, especially with our currently incarcerated individuals.
Grant-Writing/Legal Services/Technical Services: use your expert knowledge to support capacity building and sustainability at The STAR Project.
